Sustainable Kabuki Brush

Handmade Birch & Goat Hair Kabuki Brush for Plastic-Free Beauty

The Kabuki brush in oil-treated birch and goat hair. The kabuki brush is a beautiful dressing room essential for the plastic-free loving make-up lover.

Iris Hantverk has been manufacturing household brushes in Stockholm since 1800. Every brush is an exclusive design, crafted from natural materials and made by a team of visually impaired craftspeople.

Iris Hantverk Brush Makers

In the late 1900s century, a small brush manufacturer started out in Stockholm. It was a movement so successful that it still remains today. Now, as then, every brush is made by hand by visually impaired craftsmen.

All brushes are of exclusive design, and built to last.

We want your handmade brushes to last. With a little simple care, they will age beautifully. Clean the brushes with washing-up liquid and warm water. Let them dry thoroughly between uses bristles down, and from time to time oil the wood. We recommend a food-grade oil. Let the oil soak well into the wood before using the brush again.
