Iris Hantverk Brushes

In the late 1900s century, a small brush manufacturer started out in Stockholm. It was a movement so successful that it still remains today. Now, as then, every brush is made by hand by visually impaired craftsmen.

All brushes are of exclusive design, and built to last.

We want your handmade brushes to last. With a little simple care, they will age beautifully. Clean the brushes with washing-up liquid and warm water. Let them dry thoroughly between uses bristles down, and from time to time oil the wood. We recommend a food-grade oil or cold-pressed boiled linseed oil applied with a cloth. Make sure to rinse the cloth properly in water after use to avoid it catching fire. Let the oil soak well into the wood before using the brush again.
